Stephen J. Wierzbowski, AIA

Principal

With 35 years of architectural experience Stephen has has done it all. He previously ran WDW Design Inc. with his wife Lora, and before that he was the cofounder of Florian-Wierzbowski Architecture in 1983. He has taught architectural design at Carnegie Mellon University, Ohio State University, The University of Illinois at Chicago, The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and the University of Illinois in Versailles, France.


Steve has a diverse portfolio of experience, including offices, exhibits, displays and residential architecture, utilizing both design-bid-build and design-build delivery methods. However, he has cultivated a specialty in retail design. Steve has designed prototypes and managed rollouts for numerous retail clients over his career, and has designed many single store projects.
